Drunken: A Toronto woman who was at her job in Pennsylvania said her drunken neighbor was texting her about stuffing in the yard from a dog toy that had been chewed up. Her boyfriend told deputies the neighbor was upset because the babysitter’s dog chewed up a toy and had been texting the female repeatedly over “fluff” in the yard. He said he planned to clean it up in the daylight the next day. They also spoke with the neighbor, “who appeared to be highly intoxicated” , but he insisted he never yelled at anyone. He said he simply wanted the woman to clean up the mess before another neighbor blamed him. Deputies told him the couple would clean it up in the morning and to stop texting her.

Welcome wagon: Property owners in Bloomingdale say two neighbors are causing problems, trespassing and possibly swiping one of his trail cameras. He said his property is posted but he’s found tire track marks in his fields and has images of three people, two of them neighbors and the third a woman related to one of the neighbors, on his properties. He’s communicated with at least one of the individuals, who he was able to identify from trail camera images matched to Facebook photos, and the individual admitted being on the property and said he would stop but a week later he checked his cameras and noticed their green ATV back on his property, parked right in front of his now-missing trail camera. Deputies advised the owners to look into a protection order and civil court.

Charged: A Richmond man was taken into custody Monday after he allegedly sprayed a family member with a fire extinguisher, twice. Cory James Smart, 30, 101 Valley View Drive, Richmond, was charged with domestic violence, deputies said.

Fraud: A Rayland man told deputies he’s learned someone hijacked his Pennsylvania unemployment account and is getting about $500 every two weeks, Saturday. He said they’d changed his password, security questions and where deposits were routed, and said Truist bank told him “At least a couple bank accounts” had been created in his name. He said he can’t get his own benefits until the fraud is investigated.

It wasn’t me: A customer who wanted to buy liquor at Kroger was upset because they refused to sell to him, Wednesday. Employees said the man, who didn’t have an ID, started arguing with them. He left the store before police arrived. They found him in front of the store, but he denied behaving badly. Later in the day police were dispatched to Trinity West Medical Pavillion to speak with a man causing a disturbance, this time on a SVRTA bus. He said he wasn’t causing a disturbance though he “might” have been talking too loud.

Lucky: Police were asked to assist Wintersville EMS personnel saving a woman overdosing in a vacant house in the 1400 block of Maryland Avenue, Wednesday. They said the woman was “sitting against a wall, clearly unresponsive and under the influence” with what appeared to be fresh, bloody track marks in the crook of her left elbow and had a positive reaction to the nasal Narcan administered by EMS personnel. Police said they charged Sasha E. Ely, 40, 67 Nancy St., Steubenville, with possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia because she’d already been issued two drug treatment forms.
